Your most frequently asked questions about plant markers & labels are answered here!

  • Can I use a Sharpie?
    Sharpies do not hold up in the weather, fading out in a month or two. If you know you want to change the information on your labels, Sharpies are a good solution. If you want your markings to last for a long time, grease pencils will work best. Simply write on the nameplate and set out in the sun for a day to allow the markings to "bake" into the plate. Your markings will last for years.
  • Why is there no shipping charge on my order?
    We offer free shipping for all orders going to locations within the United States. We generally ship via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx within 24 hours, and most orders deliver in 2-3 business days (though it can take longer).
  • Do you offer expedited shipping?
    If you need to guarantee delivery or receive your order in a more timely fashion, you can pay additional money to have this done. Simply note this desire on your order and provide us with a phone number or call us during regular business hours at 269-657-4921. Remember that expedited shipping is quite costly, and under normal circumstances with free shipping, your order should be delivered in 2-3 business days.
  • Can I get a discount on bulk orders?
    We may offer discounts on orders of 5,000 or 10,000 of one item shipping to one location. Please contact us, and if we are able to reduce the cost of shipping the product to you, then we will pass this savings along to you.
  • Are there any other ways that I can get a discount?
    We have built in discounts at the 500 and 1,000 quantity levels and encourage garden clubs and societies to combine their orders in order to receive the best price. Other than these options, we do not offer additional discounts as we try to give all customers the best price we can.
  • I accidentally ordered the wrong thing. What should I do?
    If we have already shipped your order, we will ask you to send the item back and will resend the new item. You will be asked to cover the cost of the original shipping charges, and any difference in cost will be factored into your refund/exchange.
  • I have not yet received my order. Is it on its way?
    Please be aware that we send order confirmations for every order we receive. If you have not received an order confirmation, your order may not have been completed. Check your shopping cart to see if it's empty or full. If you already received an order confirmation, you probably also received tracking information as we send tracking for all shipments except First Class Mail. If it has been more than three business days since you ordered, please feel free to contact us for an update on the expected delivery.
  • Can I purchase preprinted labels?
    Although we do sell weather resistant peel & stick labels, we no longer have a laser printer and are not associated with a printing company. You can generally provide your local copy shop with an electronic file of your plants and have them print on our peel & stick labels.
